are we in for an entirely ai social media future??

i have a video coming out about this tomorrow but between meta’s launch of Vibes (Reels, but with all AI generated video) + chatGPT’s announcement of Pulse (definitely a step in the ad direction) + Google’s use of AI to make every YouTube video shoppable, it’s hard to imagine a world where we don’t inevitably get fed (at least) majority ai generated content
